I've spent more than a decade in strategy, operations, and M&A at Deloitte, CarMax, and The Knot Worldwide. That career gave me a broad view of what makes businesses work: how to assess them clearly, how to lead teams through change, and how to drive toward outcomes in complex situations.

Over time, I've developed a clear picture of the kind of leader I am. I'm at my best when I'm close to the work present with a team, making real decisions, and accountable for what happens next. At a certain point, it becomes hard to ignore the gap between that and what a corporate career typically offers. That's why I started Overlook Capital Group.

I'm not a financial buyer, and this isn't a stepping stone. I'm looking for one well-run business where I can invest my career, building on the foundation the owner has created, leading the team with the same seriousness and energy they deserve, and growing the business over the long term.

Why This Path

This isn't about building a portfolio or timing an exit. It's about finding one great business and pouring myself into the team, the customers, the growth of the business.
