I spent more than a decade helping large companies make better decisions — leading mergers and acquisitions work at Deloitte, developing long-range strategy at CarMax, and leading strategy and operations at The Knot Worldwide. The work was good. But over time, it became clear that what I do best isn't advising from a distance. It's being in the room, working alongside people, and making things happen. So I made a decision: stop advising other people's businesses and go run one myself. I'm looking to acquire one strong, established business in Connecticut and dedicate my career to running it well. Not to flip it. Not to manage it remotely. To show up, lead the team, and build on what the owner has spent years creating. If that sounds like a conversation worth having, I'd welcome it.
